THE DRINK: Signal Hill Sazerac
The Goods:
1 ½ oz. Signal Hill Whisky
½ oz. Cognac
½ oz. Simple syrup
5 Dashes Peychaud’s Bitters
Absinthe rinse
The How To:
Chill Rocks glass with ice and add ½ oz. Absinthe (stir to coat the entire inside of glass with Absinthe). In a mixing glass stir all liquid ingredients over ice for 10-15 seconds. Discard ice and Absinthe from Rocks Glass. Strain cocktail into Rocks Glass (no ice) and garnish with a Lemon Zest.
