THE DRINK: Canadian Hot Whisky
The Goods:
8 Whole Cloves
1 thick slice of Lemon
1 tbsp Maple Syrup
¾ cup Boiling Water
2 oz. | 60 mL Signal Hill Whisky
The How To:
Press cloves into lemon slice peel around entire peel; set aside.
Add maple syrup to a glass; place a metal spoon into the glass with the curved side facing upwards. Pour boiling water over the back of the spoon; this will keep your glass from shattering. Stir; add Signal Hill Whisky and lemon slice. Steep before drinking, about 1 minute.
